What hardware is XLAN running?

XLAN is running on four servers with a mix of RedHat Linux and FreeBSD. XLAN has a custom designed control panel which allows customers to manage their DNS and Email.

Database/File/Mail Server: P4, 1gb ram, RAID5 array
Webservers: P3, 512mb ram

XLAN's webservers are configured so that if any server should have issues, another server can immediatly serve your website.

What kind of facility is XLAN in?

XLAN's servers are housed the telecomunications hub of the Pacific Northwest: The Westin Building. XLAN is on a multi-homed network link. XLAN's servers are on battery backup with redundant generators and air conditioning.
