Scoop was founded on the idea that users should be able to select the
stories they'd like to see on the front page. As a result, Scoop has
a sophisticated system to select which stories get posted. Authors can
place stories in a "editing queue" where users can give comments, correct
spelling errors, or leave other editing remarks. After a set amount of
time, the story then goes to the "Voting Queue", where users can vote
a story to the front page, the section page or simply to be deleted.
